Default Drilling a Hole In My Hand/Shelling out Funds.

Was working on my Moms car Friday night. Slid out from under the car, foot kicked the garage shelf, and a jackstand came down about 6 feet right onto my hand.

Fingers were sore all weekend, and one nail started to turn black so I looked up some fixes for it. I read that you're supposed to burn a hole in your nail with a pin/paperclip if it's black? Didn't want to do that, so I went the drill bit route.

After about 5 minutes of half-a**ed drilling, I made a couple hearty turns and thar-she-blows. Nail's probably gonna fall off, but the finger feels better!

....and I just went broke, paying for my last two semesters of college in advance. Spring 2013! w00t for education.

I've been living like a hermit due to the same.

It's supposed to be worth it in the end...

I can only imagine the pain bro.
I dropped 10 lbs directly on my thumb/thumb nail and the pain was so bad. I thought I broke it at first. I did put a hole in my nail with a scorching hot paperclip and it relieved the pressure. More than likely you will lose that nail.

I've gone the paperclip route. Quite the nerve-wracking experience, for sure. Haha.

A friend once dropped an air conditioner on his big toe, it was cartoon flat. Nail fell off and he could hardly work. It was a little funny.

sorry about the hand. I had that happen to a toe when I was in college too.

At least the education payments should show a return on investment in the summer of 2013. I'm wrote checks for my oldest over the weekend. More painful than the smashed toe.
