I don't know, I couldn't hear the times @ the start line. I do know this guy ran a 232; I was at the finish line watching the timers and had the wrong lens when he popped the chute :(

Big Red went 204.

The red Supra from Autobahn (Amit's Twin Turbo car) went 243 mph!!!

Still sucks to see SW blowing a rod out of his motor. I was wanting to see him pull a 250mph blast.

The bike that went 254 mph was insane.

The Hennessy GT500 went 201-202, not sure what their best was. So Big Red got a full pass in? I heard the pass I photographed they smoked the clutch or something.

Big Red is a beast, 200+ in car with the aerodynamics of a brick?, works for me :)

Too bad about SW, but I'm sure he'll be back.

Big Red runs really good actually. Naturally Aspirated BBC. The car is setup for the Silver State Classic. Definitely runs harder than most cars out there.

Reading through past results, I saw an L ran 148 mph :burnout:

I heard they drove it there, and a few hours with a Sawsall, and some basic hand tools, and curb they got it race ready for the TX mile.

I also heard it didn't needed any engine or PCM tweaks since the Weight to HP ratio changed so dramatically.

It went....

Curb Weight:1,674 lbs
1/4 Mile:14.3 @ 93.2 mph

The way they figure it was 93 in the 1/4 Multiplied by 4 since 4 quarters = 1 mile would be 372mph.

SW's vid was on there.... saw the puff of smoke right before the mile marker.... still did 228 MPH........ its a beast 4 sure..... he'll get 250+

I remember seeing and reading about Big Red for the first time around 1989. I remember thinking to myself I can't believe an 18 year old just averaged
197mph in the Silver State Classic. I have been a huge fan of that car ever since.
