Looks great!
The car has loosened up quite a bit now that it is over the 500 mile mark.
Ill have it on the dyno April 4th and hopefully at the track that evening for some baseline runs.

I have arranged a test drive with a local '10 SS buyer, his was one of the first 100 built. :)
And I have had my own '10 Camaro SS/RS on order since November. It will be a project car here.

Nino, you must be the man at that dealership in order for them to let you race and dyno that thing!

Nice! Very fun cars to drive. A friend's made 371rwhp stock after some break miles and it made 410rwhp with a CAI kit, a Corsa catback, and a tune.
What are your mod plans?

Very nice. Livernois just did a baseline and intake/exhaust/tune on a GXP up here in Detroit the other day. Link here. (http://www.motownmuscle.com/forums/showthread.php?t=98014) Baseline was 371hp/382ft-lbs and after all was said and done it put down 410/410! Unbelievable!

Nice meeting you also Nino. Very nice car! It's a tough choice on Camaro or GXP for me. We currently have no cars with more than room for 2 comfortably. Maybe make a nice addition to the current stable!

410RWHP w/intake exhuast and a tune? Thats sweet! Looks pimp especially with the Brembo brakes.. I'd like to see GM offer those on more cars.

Stock manifolds too. That's really impressive.

Awesome car...perfect DD if I had the extra money.
Thanks for the words and it was great meeting alot of you the other night. I will try and make it out to as many gatherings as I can.
I probably should have brought my Camaro up the other night, it would have had more company. LOL
I have alot of plans for the car. I have the break in miles about done and will dyno the car and run it down the strip stock on the 3rd I think and then the first batch of mods will be long tubes, axle backs and an intake as well as tune. Hoping to break the 450 barrier with that. Then a whole bunch of other stuff leading up to a roots type SC.
This should be a fun build.
Love it. Except the front plate.
Yeah, Ill get it off and have it re sprayed when I get the HSV fenders.

That G8 really impresses me. The GT is an incredible vehicle, and the GXP just raises the bar a bit more.
As far as the TR6060, how does it compare to the T56? Is there any noticeable difference as you row the gears?

T56 vs TR6060 is a big difference in feel and accuracy. My C6 had the T56, and even with an aftermarket shifter it wasn't as precise as the TR6060 in my '09 Z06. The '09 Z06 with an aftermarket shifter is what I'd consider gear-banger heaven. It is that good.
TR6060 has shorter throws, and a more precise pattern. Like they took all the slop out of an already good T56.

Wow, I really didn't think it would be that different. I figured the newer trans would have a better feel to it, but that significant? Wow. I really need to "feel" this difference for myself.
Thanks for the prompt reply. :thumb:

My TR6060 almost feels like it has two "notches" one right before its in gear and the second one as it enters the gear. It feels VERY precise, throws are pretty damn good for a stock transmission! I can't wait to throw a GMM on this thing. Definitely better than any of my T56's

I'd hit it...
A beautiful piece of machinery.
The CTS-v article has promted me to go ahead and order those brakes and see if they fit and what will be needed to make them fit.
Hopefully they will be here soon.

That's great! You are sure on top of things here.:thumb:
Now, this project Camaro, are we allowed to know the plans/goals & get mod by mod track/dyno #s or is this top secret stuff?:secret:

I heard some very positive things about the car. Like the reg G8 or the Camaro, not a feasible since I live in CT and I would still need a snow beater.
Beautiful car. The article is well written but needs some real track times, not just manuf. estimates to give it more appeal.

Simply gorgeous! If I only I needed another car right now, the Camaro can keep its retro interior!
Ill have dyno results and track times next week. ;)
