Took a coworker for a ride on N20 for the first time

So a guy I work with laughs at all the $$ I drop on the car so I finally convinced him to go for a ride on a 100 shot. I heated the bottle to 1000psi and we headed to an empty feeder road. On the way there I sprayed it from a 30 roll, it dead hooked, the front end rose up and i shut it down at only 60mph and he was freaking out he said "Holy fuck dawg the front just came up" :jest: So I finally get to the spot I was heading and stalled it up to 3200rpm and sprayed it out of the hole. The mickeys only spun for around 10 feet that hooked and we we off, the front stayed up and it pulled STRONG up to 90 where I shut it down. He was quiet for a min or so then busted out laughing and said he couldn't breathe :jest: I told him to wait until I get the heads/cam in and bump it to a 150 shot, it should be up another 150ish rwhp

Good story...it is funny what non-car folk think about cars until they ride in one. I had a similar experience in about 1978. Did not care much about hot rods until my buddy bought a cherry 1969 Z-28 that only had 28k miles on it. Well after that first ride, I had a whole new attitude about muscle cars :D

you mean did, the 12.39 was with a stock 125k mile trans slippin like a mofo, stock stall and some nittos, I think its save to say the car will be in the 11's with the built trans, 3800 stall and mickeys :gruffy:

You should be fine if you dont spray out of the hole and through the shifts, I dont know shit about m6's so I dont know how much the clutch would like it

Well I would make sure that I have the window switch and all that other type stuff. I was thinking maybe just a first gear lockout, then spray 2nd gear, 3k rpm switch, out to 6500, shift 6800 (I'm doing a big cam). I'll have to talk to the n2o guys over on the other site though.

your rear should be fine mine as 128k and Ive launched it on spray with the mickeys and it seems to be holding fine, for the trans APF(sponsor on the other site) had a really good deal on built 4l60s, $1475 shipped, they are a great groups of guys to deal with and Jonny from Xtreme Tranmissions (the guy that builds them) is one of the best guys Ive EVER delt with, seriously. If you get one tell 'em Thomas from Groves, TX sent ya :)

Same (or similar) plan here. Engine hits 100k, or blows up, the stroker is going in. Either turbo, or big nasty 260s cam, and 200 shot.

My f'law used to talk about his '70s Mazerati all the time, so I took him for a nitrous ride in the 'vette up to about 140. I had asked him to film with the video camera, but he got so flustered he hit the zoom button all the way and all I got was some blurry shaking shit and audio of him going, "whooooooooa". lol!
