Matt, I'll get a few vids on a drive. The car is silly now, and I can't wait to find my first unsuspecting victim. I'd peg it as an 11.4-11.5 car now.

Very, very nice. That's pretty damn impressive. It must pull pretty hard I bet, and still have that awesome comfort of a Cadillac.
If I still had my old and my old pay, I would love to own one of these cars and do the same set up. One of my favorite cars out there right now.

Never ran mine, but did drive Hennessey's CTS-V at the track. That one made about the same power as mine, it went 11.50 on 21" street tires. They run 11.9-12.1 stock.

If I do the cam, I'll do headers at the same time. It will be over 600 rwhp with that setup. Headers are only worth about 15 rwhp with the stock cam. Catbacks show zero gains, only noise. I like my car quiet.

The Caddy should definitely be quiet. Totally would ruin the image/feel of the car, IMHO, if it were loud. I'd love to replace the Charger with a CTS-V, and get a Challenger for Tiffany. Then a Z06 for my fun car.

Hmmm. I like the look of that AIRAID box. I think I'll get that piece as the next mod. So far I've resisted the allure of the Pulley. That CAI I installed was worth 15/15. If the AIRAID is a bit better AND looks better I'll end up swapping it out.

BTW Tony, With that CAI and WFM tune running just some 103 Race gas in the tank on the 20" Rims/Nito's, the Caddy ran an 11.8 @ 119. Dyno was @ 475 RWHP W/ the generic Tune and CAI. The Launch is TRICKY to say the least with this car. You'll probably blow a couple runs trying to get it off the line right. It's tricky to get some heat in the tires due to how good the brakes are on this car.

1 trick I'd like to try and it keep the TC on right off the line, but to disengage it about a split second after it hooks. There's a couple people on the V-Forum that have tried it out. I'd have to find the thread to get the right idea again.

If you can launch it with that kind of power (My car is an Auto also and Dyno'd REALLY close to yours stock) you could run a low 11 for sure.

Resale on the V seems pretty strong also. Might be a while before you find clean ones under $35K. Most are in the $45-50K used range at the moment.

ya id like one to, but im sure it might be a while, till the price comes down and when i move down somewhere warmer that rwd wont be a problem. Till then looks like ill be stuck with an awd bimmer.

I have been googling around and can't seem to find any decent CTS-V forum out there.

Ebay, Carmax, and Craigslist are probably your best bets at finding them. The cars are pretty rare, so the used market is somewhat slim. Hence the higher resale value.

Usually by the end of each year, there's been a big sale on the remaining CTS-V's usually thru Superior Cadillac in Michigan. That's how Trevor and I bought ours. I got $14K off mine new. Damn near fully loaded. Only missed 2 options that I don't care about.

I would be looking for a slightly used.

If I am dealing with a dealership I would ideally like a near sideways trade.

Otherwise, if I am buying used something around the price I sell the Z for or maybe one or two grand more. Figure about 45k.

Just ordered the AIRAID CAI. Looks WAY nicer than that POS one W4ME sells. And I think I might finally take the plunge and get the Pulley done while I'm home this time around.
