Well, many dont know what my car is under the hood, fun to fuck with people, they assume carbed 350 or some other random SBC, but it is a 6.0 LQ4 i scored from the local salvage yard, and i hate EFI because it is cheaper, no matter what anyone says, to go carbed and make more power doing it for the money. I can tune it myself and no one has to help.
Intake is a Victor Jr, carb is a 750 Holley base i built with pro form main body, quick fuel base plate and the ignition is the MSD 6010 box, for those that dont know, this box completely controls timing however i want it to, and you can use a factory map sensor if you wish to get a vacuum advance simulation for increased fuel economy, it has a 2 step rev limiter built in as well as a nitrous retard function. So, the MSD box kicks ass.
Headers are stainless works LS swap headers, 1 3/4 to 3 inch collector, unfortunatly they did not start making the 1 7/8 primary ill after i got the smaller headers.

Heep in mind, this is a junk yard motor, unknown mileage, bone stock bottom end, i installed valve springs, pushrods and a trex used cam, everything else is stock reused and hits the 7100 ROM rev limiter with ease. Anyone has some heads that flow 300 cfm for me for a good price let me know, LOL.

Had plenty of build up:

Wire brush does wonders:

A set of 30$ engine plate adapters and i was in business for the swap:

Solid moroso mounts:

Went right in after some minor adjustment:

Made the stock truck water pump work, used some custom one off brackets machine by a friend to retain the stock alternator, i went with a manual steering box so i have a idler pulley where the power steering could be:

Then it was time to play, i went with the T56 from a 2000 Z28 and the diff is a Moser 12 bot with 4.30 gears, fuel economy is great and drivability is decent for a race carb.
