I received confirmation yesterday from the Nitto Tire events manager that we will have three PlanetLSX cars featured in their booth at all 7 stops. And one drag Mustang they sponsor.

The white w/ orange stripes 2010 Camaro SS, my Z06, and a Magnacharged 68 Camaro (or possibly 1970 Chevelle with LSX power)

My Viper was featured in their booth for the 2008 tour, pretty cool experience.

Time to mod the Z06 :)

That is awesome!!
I would LOVE to do the Power Tour some year. I bet it's an awesome time. Some of my friend's have done the tour and said it was a blast.
(So, Tony, what's going on for mods on the Z06??!?!:naughty::naughty:)

Yep time to step up the game of the 2010 Camaro. Excited about the tour and looking forward to our first trip being a blast!

That's pretty cool Tony. My dad and I want to finish our 66 Chevelle one of these days to do the power tour in. We are just torn on what powerplant to use and paint color. Interior is still mint so that's one less thing to argue about.

Any idea of what you are going to do to the Z?

No ideas concrete just yet. It will get an HP increase though, I can't roll stock on PT.

Very cool. Highly doubt I'll be able to do the power tour because of my schedule... ugh one of these days!

True, well it'll be interesting to see what you do! You gonna get some planetlsx stickers, hats, t-shirts made lol? My parents used to have their own vinyl graphics business, I've got all the old equipment laying around I could prolly make some vinyl stickers.

Check this out for a Chevelle idea lol....Duramax Diesel power...(I know it's a later model)

The '70 won't be ready?

I'd love to go again, but I'll be on the other side of the globe by then. I'll need to shoot for the 2012 tour :D

I haven't messed with the 70. I want to build that car right, not in a hurry. Needs the frame pulled and p-coated, A/C, some touch up paint work, new brakes, wiring etc.. I'd like it a level above driver quality, as usual. The 502 will be converted to EFI, and the T56 needs to be rebuilt.

I showed my cars to the Nitto guy, he picked the Z06. I was kinda hoping he picked the CTS-V. That would have been the luxury tour :)

Z06 might end up with some boost. TVS2300 kit is almost ready for production from Maggie...

Z should be fun. I think it has a little more room than the Viper.

That would be pretty epic on the LS7.

Do you also sell Nitto tires? Just because I'll probably be picking up a set soon (assuming my Z06s ever sell). Was going to just go through discount tire when then have their usual $100 off; unless you knew of somewhere better. Yet I doubt their is much mark up on tires anyway.

Tony SHOULD sell NITTO tires with the way he's always using them.

When is the Power Tour? I'm starting to plan for my next vacation and I think this is the year I'll hit up SEMA...But I might be able to plan for 2 trips.

I believe June 5-12...

I only sell tires if I sell someone wheels. There is hardly any markup in tires, those are a 0 profit sale after credit card fees. So no, I won't just sell only tires themselves ;)

Yep that's what I figured. I'm guessing the 2-piece iForged is still your lower end line?

Well, you could show up in the CTS-V and when they ask:
"Where's The Z06"

You can say ....

"Oh, Well he just kind of broadly motioned to the garage and said for me to "Bring the Grey Car"

:)

Nine Ball

Honestly, the CTS-V will stand out more at Power Tour. When Gray and I did the long haul in 2008, there were probably 100+ C6 Z06's in attendance. Most of them looked stock though. We counted 3 Vipers that year, the other two were stock.

I'm fortunate enough to only have 1 car worth going...Easy pick for us!

Nine Ball

Will, I guarantee the Lightning is going to be nicer than at least 2/3 of the cars doing the long haul. Yes, there are some badass wicked rides on PT, but it isn't the majority. I would seriously do the PT in a rental car if it were my only option. People fly in from other parts of the world/country and do this quite often.

HYBRED

LOL even though the registration says "please no rental cars" HAHA!

As discussed in the emails Tony, I believe the 2010 may be up to par with some of the "nicer" cars on the tour by the time the date rolls around!

**EDIT**
Need to stop posting on Kat's name while my computer is broken...
