i know you all are still doing alot of work trying to get the site running, but i was wondering if our trader ratings would be transferred over from tech and pt.net? really gunna suck if we have to start all over

Agreed. Id like to see it come over as well. We could always use our old tech ratings as a reference I guess.

I don't think it's technically an option. All the information being carried over is from prior to the sale of the other site in 2007.
The only ratings I can imagine would be those in place at the time of the sale. After that It's no longer something the new site has a record of.
While I agree it would be great, but It would be like transferring ratings from GMFullsize or Fullsizechevy.com

I can't imagine them reaching an agreement with IB that would let them retrieve that information.

No, trader ratings will not carry over here from 'tech. They're on their own database, all we had here is the database of users from SeatStaysUp - which was split off from LS1Tech in late July 2007. No trader ratings, no "Gallery", etc. We don't have any sort of access to that information. Sorry guys.

If someone questions you just send them a link to your old profile with your trader rating, I dont want to loose my 17 positives either but hey......

I agree that the section needs to be built up, but most of the guys from the site, will be here.. So why not keep your rating, to let the new people see what kinda seller or buyer you are...

A lot of those people have ebay/paypal accounts. so should they carry those ratings over too?

They can't carry info from a site that does not belong to them without getting that site owners permission. its illegal

That does suck, I guess my 20 or more positives will stay on tech. I'll just reference people to my profile over there.
