I think it will be pretty cool. Too bad it will be priced way too high for most to buy, unlike 1969, when the add-ons were probably just a few thousand dollars.

Only problem with these "tuner" cars is the insane markups on them. Most folks would rather buy an SS and pep them up in their own personal way.

Just looking at the renderings, I knew a 22" TT2 wheel with gray centers would look good on these cars. I'll have real photos of the car next week while I'm at SEMA.

Man, I've been waiting on someone to use this idea...should have known it would be released commercially. Those wheels might look nice on the PLSX PaceCar 2010...

I guess I'll be the odd one and say I don't really care for it. I think it's a great idea for Yenko to buid them but like everyone else said, you know the price will be stupid high because of what they did 45 years ago.

Original Yenkos, ZL1s, COPO cars etc.. were also very expensive back in 1969. Those big block engine upgrades nearly doubled the MSRP of the Camaros. SS 396 was less than $4k new back then. So, adding a $3K engine was a huge expense.

ZL1's were silly expensive. The COPO's weren't cheap either. Any special car is going to demand a premium, if the performance of this car is what they say and the history of the name it will likely be worth it. Look at the sticker prices of the special 4th Gens when they were new. Hell I remember seeing Firehawks over 40K and people were paying it and these were LT1 cars. Firehawks aren't nearly as special as a Yenko, Berger, Mechum or Nickey.

Hmm.. that's a strange rendering. No color. I think the theme will go well. Just need to see a picture of a real car, with color.

To bad by the time I can afford one I am sure they will all be sold if they limit the build numbers... Id ignoore the ugly back end I think and get one.... but I am sure the price will be really high and i would just rather spend the money on a Z06.

Yeah back in 1969 $100 was like what $1,000 is now...

Hendricks is also doing one - Supercharged 582 h.p. 11.9 - 1/4 mile 0-60 3.9 seconds

Sure these special cars will cost more than the standard factory units. Yenko - Motion -and others made special cars. Many other dealers could get COPO cars too. How many of you questioning the prices of these cars have a 2010 SS? I agree with the guys post ahead of mine. COPO's weren't cheap either. I am sure I made less than $4.00 per hr. at GM. Thats why I went into sales of GM cars.
