Hey Gents,
I logged in this am and changed my password and email. As soon as I did so, I could no longer change CP items, and can't post anywhere but the Welcome section. I tried to send info to the admins via the contact form but it also said I didn't have permission to use that :)
What I believe happened is this -- you sent a confirmation to the (really really) old email addy that was used to build my account here (was one of the early invitees I guess), but I can't access that email account anymore.
I can verify who I am via PM on tech or trucks if you'd like or at my new email address, which is very very close to my old one (I've moved to a new company which is easily verified by a search at that domain -- minus the 'mail' :) )
