Serious considering ordering a new Vette.

I can see white in a vert since it is a summer toy, but it doesn't do anything for me in a hardtop. If you have to have it, go for it. :)

About fn time. The Ron Fellows Z06 crowd will cry for sure. Grand Sport in white will look kick ass. I wish they would offer Admiral Blue like the 96 had.

Yeah, considering a Grand Sport, for a later upgrade to a APS TT :) Although, always wanted a 427 Vette :)
I have a year to decide, certainly not buying anything before I leave Bahrain.

Used Z06s will be in the mid-30s to mid-40s range by then. Might be hard to pass one of those up for a lesser LS3 model.

Used '06 C6Z's are in the $39-45K range now, '07 C6Z's are in the low 50's.

True, but I don't see C6Z's all hovering in the 30s anytime soon. Just the high mileage cars. I figure 40s is their selling point where they will tend to hover. Especially if they quit being built.

I've been watching C6Z's on CF, and man there are some very interesting deals there. I'm going to get off my ass and get one. I think the GS will be uber cool, but my concern is that the dealers are going to price gouge. Any idea what they are going to sell for?
I'd love a deal on a RF '07 but they are staying up there, so I am more likely to get a '06 1LZ and then do some stuff to it and maybe do some road racing and some occasional drag racing with it.

 So true.
It's time for a new blue...Jetstream is OK and Le Mans was better, but we need something between the two. I'd also like to see a dark green, but that's just me.

I'd also like to see a dark green, but that's just me. Dark green with a tan leather interior makes is a good sports car color combo. I like it especially in verts; makes me think of the British roadsters from the 60s.

That's why I don't see it happening. The C6.R's biggest rival was a british racing green Aston Martin DBR9.
I always thought that Dark Bowling Green Metallic color from the early C5 had a lot of potential. Any photoshoppers?

A white C6Z will look killer. White, as long as it's bright and pure looks awesome on sports cars. My neighbor has a white Porsche 911 GT3 RS, looks sick....

I'm looking to pick something up later summer/early fall of 2010, hoping that C6/C6Z prices drop even further by then. I'd love to grab a used C6Z, we'll see where the prices are about that time.

I love white Vettes for sure.
Dark green vette sounds like the perfect car for someone who about a 100 years old.

+1 on both counts. I see very few dark green vettes, and fewer even that are well kept. White is a much nicer color. I still like blue though :)

Late model LeMans blue is beautiful. I'd say it would be on a short list of ZO6 colors I will be looking for.
