Somebody on the SAR message board was saying that SAR owed IHRA a lot of money, but that's hear-say.

I think there's a new track in the DFW area that is picking up a couple of IHRA races. I don't know if it's the demographic (does DFW have more 'fans' than San Antonio area?), but I'm sure it boils down to money.

I don't think it's hear-say anymore. The IHRA has filed for $764k against the owners of SAR, and SAR is apparently counter-suing for a "little more."

I am here and know the owners very well of SAR.
They owe shitloads of money to a lot of people.
The track is a POS.
Figure it out.
RIP/SAR
Hopefully somebody will buy it that knows what in the hell they are doing because the present owners are a joke in both drag racing and business.

I just hope the guy that bought Shady Oaks down here in Victoria builds a track. Tired of SAR and Seally since the owners don't know how to prep a track.

Didn't the new owner just take over at SAR? Yeah the prep isn't that great but it definitely could be worse. From what I've heard, it will be an Outlaw track for a while

I had heard that SAR had something going with the IHRA last year to do with non-payment of something, so it sounds like it might be related. I have always perceived Milan as doing well, is that not the case?

I believe there was a verbal agreement after one of the IHRA races that tore up the track that they would pay for t he repair. SAR repaired the track but IHRA never paid so SAR help all revenues from the proceeding races. Then the lawsuits came out.
