They sent me some shitbox DVD in the mail (I have had a subscription since December). I can keep the thing for a meer $7.00. Or of course send it back to them in the envelope they provided.

What a crock of shit. I don't have time to dick around with this kind of crap, thanks Hot Rod! I'm going to end up calling them, to let them know how useless they are. Cancel my subscription, I'm all set.

There's nothing worse than a company trying to con you out of more money...:turd:

watch it and make a copy of it, then send it back to them and tell them they can stick their subscription up their asses

Do we have to send them back, I thought we didn't have to. I found the whole thing very annoying. If I have to send it back I'll be making a salty post on their forum.

It says you don't HAVE to send it back, but that they'd appreciate it so they can offer it to someone else.

I read through it quickly, threw most of it out. It says somewhere in there about a $7 dollar charge. That may be only if you accept the series...

I got one a long time ago. I can't remember, but I'm pretty sure that I sent it back.

i just got one for Car Craft...wtf, i'm not making a trip to the post office to send back crap THEY sent to ME.

Yeah I got one ...... for some reason I got the idea that if I did not send it back , they would take it as an ok to send more & bill me ..... Either way it was quite annoying to have to take time & send shit back to them. I really didn't expect that from HotRod.

I got a few of their DVDs a while back. They had a series on car restoration, etc. They'd send the DVDs and then you could send them back or send money. If you didn't send the DVD back, they would keep sending a bill.

Eventually I started getting DVDs of misc TV shows and what not.. WTF..

I called them and cancelled the mess. Haven't gotten any since.

Just what I was afraid of! Even though it tells you to mail in the request for more DVDs, keeping that piece of garbage has trouble written all over it.

It's a fucking scam.

I got one the other day I just threw it in the trash. It 's a pretty shitty way to do business.

I was thinking the same thing when I got roped into the DVD thing they had going before. But they KEPT SENDING BILLS.. nothing saying delinquent or anything, but they were relentless!!!

I haven't gotten this latest one, and I hope I don't!!

they can pester you with bills all they want, but i don't think it means anything since you didn't sign up to recieve it.
