There was an incredible amount of information shared between members throughout the years over on the LS1TECH forums. When I first click onto PLSX, the first thing that I and everybody else sees is the ezine style cover page.
I was wondering what your thoughts are on an e-zine style website versus having just a forum regarding the passing of information between users now that you've managed both styles of automotive website. What sort of pros and cons does each style possess?

I think that having e-zine content and the ability to discuss articles but all other topics is a good combination. The issue at this point with only one or the other is that you lose interactivity if it's only an e-zine, and if it's only a board the discussions can vary widely in terms of accuracy.
I think this board will grow, we like to start them small and go from there. But we will be doing things to control the sprawl.

Agreed... I see having the e-zine main page as a valuable aspect of presenting information officially rather than just leaving it all to the forums where sourcing can be questionable.
Overall, I love the e-zine layout. I've got a go-to e-zine style website with an attached forum for most of my other hobbies -- sherdog.com feeds my MMA hobby, for example. So I'm very excited to see one pop up for the LSX automotive scene as well and look forward to spending a lot of time here.
